Here's how this one works...

  1. The rules are posted at the beginning.
  2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
  3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and ask them to read your blog.

What I was doing 10 years ago:

  1. Majoring in Music Education at WKU
  2. being an HFC (Hilltoppers for Christ)
  3. living at home
  4. not dating Jared (we were "just friends")
  5. preparing to spend the summer in Honduras and transfer to Harding in the fall

Five things on my to do list for today:

  1. Take Jack to school (in 20 minutes!)
  2. Go to the grocery (unless I'm okay with running out of toilet paper today)
  3. Take a shower
  4. Go to Angie's for lunch
  5. Do laundry (so the kids will have school clothes for the rest of the week!)

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

  1. Buy Jared a farm and a couple of fast cars
  2. Get a bigger house (not ridiculous, but with more bedrooms and a big dining room)
  3. Buy my parents and in-laws their dream homes
  4. Finish funding college and retirement for all of our family (including future nieces and nephews)
  5. Give lots of money to Baxter to do the things Mom mentioned
  6. Give lots of money to Barquisimeto, Venezuela, church, Grandview church(Hispanic church in Nashville), and Woodbine church (inner city Nashville)
  7. Adopt a bunch more children, and hire people to clean house, cook, etc so I could just be the wife/mom (and blog)! (That sounds good even if we didn't add any more children!)
  8. Personal masseuse!! (Good idea, Mom! Probably at the top of my list too!)

Three of my bad habits: (I'm glad this was limited to 3!)

  1. Being late
  2. Yelling (in anger/frustration, when I'm excited, when I'm too lazy to walk to the next room to communicate)
  3. Biting my fingernails (and passing that on to my daughter! Argh!!)

Five places I have lived:

  1. Searcy, AR (Tina Circle, Stephens dorm)
  2. Springdale, AR, & Farmington, AR
  3. Bowling Green, KY (Leslie Ave, Greenhill Rd, MacLean and Rhodes-Harlin dorms)
  4. Hendersonville, TN (Wilmington Ct)
  5. Nashville, TN (Elam dorm, Oakley Dr)

Five jobs I have had:

  1. Chopsticks (Greenwood Mall)
  2. McCloud Claims Service (secretary)
  3. various marching bands (brass/marching/field commander instructor)
  4. Catalog Music (customer service)
  5. Foundation Christian Academy (Spanish teacher)

Five People I Want to Know More About:

  1. The Amy B's (Berry & Bowman)
  2. SGD (you don't have a blog but you can email/comment or START A BLOG)
  3. Hannah R
  4. Maggie Jean
  5. The Sarah K's (White and Owens)

I don't have a blog. (I just had Bobby find me some journaling software and I haven't even gotten started on that yet....) Here are my answers:

What I was doing 10 years ago:
1.Attending UK, majoring in History and Political Science
2.Living in a dorm – yeah Boyd Hall!
3.Traveling to Baltimore to visit Bobby while he was a co-op
4.Working out regularly
5.getting ready for summer classes at WKU

Five things on my to do list for today:
1.Water the flowers!! (I'm determined to keep them alive for at least a month.)
2.Take the boys to school
3.Watch for that strange car that seems to be scoping out the neighborhood
4.Start laundry for the weekend
5.Meet my mom and dad for dinner

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
1.Either build a new house or just expand this one a bit.
2.It would be nice to have new, safe cars that could hold the whole family.
3.Fund college educations.
4.Make sure our parents (and grandparents) were all quite comfortable.
5.Hire someone to clean the house – so I could spend more time NOT cleaning the house.
6.Pay for a landscaper :)
7.Take random college classes that just seem interesting.
8.Travel – a lot! With the kids too. With unlimited $$, there's so much to see and experience.
9.Just spend more time with Bobby since he wouldn't have to work so much....
10.Eat better – organic, whole foods, etc...
11.Give, give, give.....The UMC Children's homes, camp scholarships, community health evangelism mission work, and ???
12.Guess I should stop there.....(And Bobby would want me to add – invest wisely, of course!)

Three of my bad habits:
1.Losing my temper with the kids
2.Talking too much.....
3.Spending too much time on-line

Five places I have lived – This is a hard one for me!
1.Glasgow, KY (for my first 6 months)
2.Bowling Green, KY – in Plano (growing up and now back again)
3.Alvaton, KY (just a mile away, but a different zip code)
4.Lexington, KY
5.Neu Esting, Germany (for a few weeks during a study abroad)

Five jobs I have had:
1.Hostess at Cracker Barrel
2.Lab consultant in UK's computer labs
3.Tour guide at Waveland (historical home in Fayette County)
4.Teacher at Tates Creek High School
5. And since I don't have a fifth paid job....Mom (for 5.5 years!)
