Jack, already this morning

Jack, what do you want to do for your birthday?

"Well, I want to go to Chuck E Cheese, but make sure you don't tell that giant rat about it, because I don't want him there. Technically, I'm afraid of giant rats."

My two oldest kids (now 18 and 16)used to be TERRIFIED of the "giant rat." My 16 year old used to check under every stall in their bathroom before she would go in one to make sure that Chuck E. was elsewhere.

That is TOO funny. Hope he gets a "ratless" birthday.

girl- That Jack is so funny, all of your kids are funny and so neat!!! i just got caught up on your happenings this morning and read a bunch of your posts. You always inspire me for so many reasons. You are a wonderful mother and have such awesome children that reflect your goodness!!! So glad that you were able to work with me in crazy 2 yr old vbs- it was a major undertaking- I wish I could have met your Ruby, but know that God had better ideas for her! I am content in knowing that she has a much better home! I love you and your sweet, sweet family. I am glad that your kids are enjoying school and farm living!! I hope I can spend some quality time with you soon!

Me too, I imagine Chuckie's name alone gives people the creeps!

hilarious. I remember being terrified of robotic Chuck E Cheese when I was little, so I am always tickled at the way Anna Kate throws herself at the thing and cries when it goes to "sleep." She kisses the thing's feet... literally.

That is funny... My girls never like any life size, costume character.
